..STORING, COOKING AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
  • Keep product frozen until ready to use.
  • Will keep for 3 months in freezer at under -180 C (00F).
  • Use within 2 days when refrigerated at 40 C (400F).
  • Thaw in fridge 12 hours and cook immediately.
  • Do not store the product at room temperature.
  • Avoid all contact between cooked and raw meat.
  • Use clean platters and utensils for serving cooked meat.
  • Never re-freeze.
  • Discard meat which has been stored at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
  • Crossed contamination occurs when raw food items enter into contact with cooked or prepared foods.
  • When serving, do not use utensils or plates that were used for handling raw meat.
  • Always cook ground meat thoroughly.  Use a thermometer to ensure that it has reached a minimum temperature of 700 C (1600F).
